Kevin Musikanth is a rugby executive, coach, author and business strategist with more than two decades of experience across professional, university, club, school and international rugby. His career has included senior roles with UCT Ikey Tigers, False Bay, Villager RFC, Wynberg Boys’ High, St John’s College, King David Linksfield, Rugby Israel, Steaua Bucharest and the Tel Aviv Heat, where he served as founder and Head Coach. A Varsity Cup and World University Cup-winning coach, Kevin has won multiple championships, including league titles with False Bay, and led the Tel Aviv Heat to the Rugby Europe Super Cup final and a landmark victory over Saracens. He is co-author of Always Believe in Magic with Jonathan Kaplan and Professor Tim Noakes, documenting UCT’s remarkable 2014 Varsity Cup triumph. Today, Kevin is CEO of the Free State Cheetahs and Founder and Managing Director of Trends Consulting, where he works across sport, business strategy, commercial development, leadership and organisational turnaround.

Frankie Horne is Chief Operating Officer of Trends Consulting. A former South Africa Sevens captain and founder of the world-renowned SAS Rugby 7s and Rugby Tens High Performance programmes, he brings more than two decades of high-performance rugby and academy leadership to the firm.

He builds competitive men’s and women’s programmes, developing and providing playing opportunities for players and coaches, whilst feeding pathway programmes and other international sides on the HSBC World Sevens Series. Frankie’s organisational skills, work ethic, leadership, and passion for people, growth and development make him a valuable asset in coaching and player development across the rugby landscape.

Chris’s coaching journey began in university rugby with U20s before progressing into senior rugby. He is passionate about building with teams and growing with players, combining individual coaching with team development. His focus is on strong technical skills, attack, kicking, decision-making and game understanding, while creating a positive team culture built on character, accountability, connection and team spirit.

Orna spent eight years as team manager of the Springbok Women’s Sevens and Fifteens. She brings 15 years’ experience at a high level across all aspects of sports-kit logistics with local and international brands, and 15 years working with rugby teams at local, provincial and international level as team liaison.
